This special program includes
•14 night tour to Casa Dom Inacio PLUS
• two facilitated Retreats (available separately) for persons in Recovery and their family and friends.) The retreats will be held at a private residence close to the Casa overlooking beautiful valleys.
Fr Steve Porter, of Rialto, CA, has had substantial experience ministering to persons in recovery and has had years of training and experience as a Spiritual Advisor. His retreat program is provided on a not to interfere basis with each person's process at the Casa Dom Inacio.
• Fr Steve will lead us in an intensive participatory process applying the principals of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises to the 12 Steps, a very general method of improving anyones way of living. Emphasis on Step 4, a Spiritual Self-Inventory starting after lunch on Sunday 4 Sept & concluding prior to dinner on Tuesday 6 Sept 2011.
• Fr Steve's sessions on Sunday 11 Sept to Tuesday 13 Sept - Emphasis on Step 11 Prayer and Meditation as reflected in Discerning God's Will based on the Spiritual Exercises of Dom Inacio (St. Ignatius), other topics that arise during our days together and a conclusion.
• At all times, we will focus on our sessions at the Casa, with opportunity as each person is able* for one-on-one sessions, sharing, meetings, etc.
Recovery meetings will be held as group conscience dictates.
*NOTE - The Casa spiritual treatment process can be an extremely intense experience for some, and may demand at times bed rest and other actions on the part of participants. The retreat sessions have been scheduled to avoid interfering with the Casa process to the maximum extent possible. Please come on this spirtual (not religious) journey with your hearts open to all possibilities, and please avoid fixed expectations.
